This is my second go around with lash extensions. At first everyone was like what!? You don't need them, you already have long lashes. On the contrary, my natural lashes are stick straight. Curling my natural lashes last about 20 minutes and using mascara primers make them look clumpy and scraggly. As you can see, the extensions add curl and take away the need for mascara. Yes, I am not wearing mascara/ eyeliner in the photos.
As a lash artist and sporter, I would say one of the biggest tips is to brush them multiple times a day. I always do after I get them wet from a shower or washing my face. This helps slough off the water while also keeping them in line.
I always request C-curls as they have more of an immediate curl as opposed to gradual. My fills vary from 1-2 weeks depending on my activity and how full I want them.
I use a trick to take off eyeshadow/ liner if I choose to wear it. Take a cotton ball, drench with your eye makeup remover (oil free) and place a tissue over the top. The result is a tissue wrapped cotton ball with remover. This disables any cotton from getting trapped or snagging lashes.
